The Waunakee Warriors 44 game conference winning streak came to an end Friday night in Reedsburg as the Beavers turned in a masterful effort in a 15-10 win.

After dropping a 22-21 decision at Oregon last Friday, Reedsburg controlled the high powered Waunakee offense with a deliberate offensive scheme and a defensive effort that held the Warriors to just one play in the first quarter. Andy Huber's one yard touchdown run with 14 seconds left in the game capped a 12-play, 65 yard drive by the Beavers after Waunakee had taken the lead at 10-9 on a 33 yard field goal by Kassy McCarthy with 5:18 left in the game.

Reedsburg coach Brian Pottinger said that the game was "Nothing special — it was just great execution by our kids."
